AIRF has the requisite professional capacity as a consortium to effectively undertake various assignments. Since it was set up, AIRF has developed skills and experience in the areas such as Supply Chain Management, Value Chain Analysis, Organization Transformation and Restructuring (Strategic Renewal), EFQM Business Excellence Model, Business Process Reengineering, Balance Score Card, Organizational Behavior, Development and Implementation of Strategic and Business Plans, Knowledge and Technology Development in the Agricultural Sector and Renewable Energy, Customer Service Management, Food and Feed Safety, Technology Exchange and Transfer, Environmental Conservation, Preservation and Pollution prevention and Mitigation. In addition to a number of committed, motivated, competent, and experienced in-house professionals, AIRF has a network of experienced external consultants.

AIRF’s professionals are characterized by extensive expertise and long hands-on experience in various disciplines. It is therefore, capable of fielding a multi-disciplinary team with a complimentary blend of necessary experiences and expertise, including experts on Cambietics, Value-stream Reinvention, Enterprise Redesign Transformation, Business Process Redesign, development of legal and institutional frameworks and TQM Continuous Improvement.

The AIRF Multi-disciplinary Team has been instrumental in undertaking several in-country and sub-regional assignments and with collaborators in Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, European Union, Japan, Canada, and United States of America. AIRF’s capacity is very fundamental to the tasks enumerated in this assignment.
